about

Continuation of the story from where 'The Eye of the Witch Sees All"

1. Valley of the Wyvern:
After the council with the institute of the magi the lone sentinel sets down the old pathway to the old castle towards the Valley of the Wyvern. He seeks to beseech the general of the Wyvern Calvary Knights to aid him in his quest to stop the mad king. He has only heard rumor of their existence and unmatched prowess in battle but could such a valiant force exist? Would they even be willing to help him? Either way he can tell by the way things are starting to look in his surroundings that this must certainly be the magical place depicted in the legends of old....

2. Soul Harvest:
Not having found the fortress of the Wyvern Calvary Knights he decides as dusk approaches he will set up camp for the night. His slumber is disturbed by a terrible dream. He is staring at the realm of Admantia atop a high perch of some kind, as he is taking in the sight of it all a massive specter of a grim reaper rises up slowly covering the whole realm in its shadow. It slowly raises its scythe and reaves across the land, the lone sentinel stands powerless and in horror as millions of souls rise up and are sucked into the mouth of the reaper.
He awakes from his nightmare in a cold sweat and begins to pack his things...

3. Twinkling of the Falling Snow:
As dawn begins to break he stops to notice that snow is falling all around him! But he was sure it was only the beginning of autumn, how can this be? Surely this must be part of the magic of this enchanted valley. He takes it all in.

4. Strength of the Wyvern Riders:
As he comes to a clearing he begins to hear loud roars and the crashing of steel on steel, he bursts through the tree line to the sight only previously described to him in the legends of old. He is witnessing the end of a battle, a battle being waged by Knights mounted on the back of enormous Wyverns! He suddenly finds himself being swooped up by one and being whisked high into the sky, he grips on tighter than he has ever in his life as they soar above the battle...

5. Tower of the Wyvern Calvary General:
After the battle without saying a word the knight who swooped him onto the back of his wyvern takes him to a spire atop of an enormous fortress the likes of which he has never laid eyes upon. It is built directly into the side of the tallest mountain and the spire they seem to be headed for towers high above even the mountains peak. Had he not been on the back of a wyvern he would be asking himself how such a structure could exist, but that is the least of his worries at the moment. He calls out 'Where are you taking me, sir knight?"

"We have been expecting you, we are taking you to our general now."

6. Through the Oracle's Eyes I Wander:
After hearing the lone sentinel's request for aid the general tentatively agrees, but when the lone sentinel mentions the nightmare he had the generals face suddenly grew somber and stern. "We must consult the oracle."
When they arrive at the oracle's ritual mound he is handed a strange bowl of a discolored liquid. He is asked to drink it in its entirety for that is the only way to commune with the oracle and to see through her eyes....

7. With Hope Towards the Horizon:
After consulting with the oracle it has become clear the Lone Sentinel must acquisition more forces to help him in his quest to slay the king, or else his nightmare may come to fruition. But with this new found army "The Wyvern Calvary Knights" at his back, surely gaining more aid will not be impossible, with hope in his heart and mounted upon a mighty Wyvern, they set off towards the bright horizon....
