First rehearsal of songs from the upcoming album that are being turned into a set to take live. These version have been recorded straight to tape on my wretched tape deck and are mostly being uploaded so I can listen and critique myself on the go. But some of you may enjoy them. They sound incredibly rotten and will be played more refined and in hi-fi studio quality when it comes time to record the full length.
This is leading to a new direction for this project, I have had a breath of new life forced into me and will result in effort from me for this project and this music unlike any you have seen from me before, so be ready.
This album will be the tale of the Lone Sentinel, on his first adventure in a new realm and the things he witnesses and partakes in while traversing this unexplored world.

The stories so far:
1. The Throne of Might - The Lone Sentinel enters this realm and stumbles upon a field of battle unlike any he has seen before. For this arena of combat was set up for one on one trials of war, warriors of all kinds throughout the known and unknown world have gathered in this place for the ultimate test of savage might, a competition to see who may claim the Throne of Might!

**Some of you may recognize this track and the next one from the Hyperborean Might demo, that is because they were written to be new Lone Sentinel material while we were staying at Northeast Dungeon Siege but we decided to jam on them together, this versions will be vastly different in feel and instrumentation.**

2. Sorcerer's Curse - Wandering through a dark forest the lone sentinel stumbles upon a mystical tower with no doors, from atop he hears a strange and distant muttering that seems to carry through the the treetops like a thick fog upon the morning air when all of the sudden he notices himself slipping into a trance, a wizard has cast a spell from afar to ensnare the wandering knight and force him into a deep hallucination like state for all eternity, why he is doing this is unknown but the sentinel must find a way to break this curse and escape!

3. The Pained Solitude of the Wandering Stone Golem - The lone sentinel stumbles upon a wandering stone golem who does not seem to take notice of him at all, he gets its attention and can see the pain in his eyes almost immediately. Seeing the golem being unhostile he proceeds to inquire why he is out wandering this wood. In a low and sorrowful voice the golem slowly cries out...
"My witch summoned me to protect her home in this forest long ago, we shared many cups of tea amongst a cool breeze in a nice summer sunshine beneath the trees for many many years, that was long ago and unfortunately she has long since been laid to rest, I unfortunately can not die so i wander these now cold and isolated woods in solitude to make sure no one disturbs her peaceful and eternal slumber." ...

4. Battlesorrow - A company of mercenaries unlike any the lone sentinel has ever seen has to now mourn the loss of many of their comrades while also rejoicing in a hard fought victory in battle. Such is the way of life for these hired swords and yet they still never grow accustomed to the sting of loss, for what sets this band apart from all others is they truly view each other like family. Each man amongst them has no one else, they do not fight with an end goal of fame or fortune, they fight to keep their brothers alive as long as possible on their life long quest for glory and honor.

I have so many people to thank for these new songs, But I will save that for when I release the full studio album in a few weeks. If enough people are interested I will release a small hand dubbed tape run of this demo for sale later on as well.

I picked up the whole serpent sword discography and while there are quite a few amazing albums, the two by Elder Goblin are my fav. EG is the master of tone riding somewhere between crisp digital and blown out lo-fi. Genuinely impressive work. Can’t wait for new releases Big Big Jambo
